Turn clicks, impressions and page trends into a practical list of SEO actions.
Start with a business question
A report is useful when it answers a specific question. For a service business, start with whether the right service pages are attracting relevant visitors. Choose a consistent review period and record recent website changes before comparing results. A campaign launch, seasonal demand or a changed offer can affect the story behind the numbers.
Separate visibility from visits
Search Console reports impressions, clicks, click-through rate and average position. These measure different parts of search performance; they do not measure enquiries by themselves. Filter by page and then review queries to understand which searches are associated with a service. Avoid judging the entire website from one average position.
Choose one action per page
If a page appears for unrelated searches, review whether its content clearly describes the intended service. If a relevant page attracts visits but few enquiries, test the form and read the offer from a customer perspective. Keep a small action list with a page URL, observation, proposed change and review date.
Review outcomes together
Compare similar periods and note that a short-term increase does not prove one edit caused it. Discuss lead quality with the sales team alongside search trends. A monthly review might prioritise three pages rather than generating a long report nobody uses. Our SEO team can help turn those observations into an implementation plan.
