Build meaningful links between guides and service pages without overcrowding your content.
Map the next useful step
Imagine a visitor reading about slow websites. Their next question might be how to improve performance or who can maintain the site. List the pages that answer those questions before inserting links. The goal is a clear journey through related information, not a target number of links in every paragraph.
Make links descriptive and accessible
Use ordinary HTML links with a destination URL and wording that explains the destination. A phrase such as website maintenance services is more informative than an isolated click here. Keep the surrounding sentence natural and avoid repeating long keyword phrases in every link.
Find pages visitors cannot reach
Create a list of important services and check whether each can be reached through navigation or another relevant page. Review older articles for opportunities to connect them to newer guides. Links should support the topic; an article about hosting does not need a link to every marketing service.
Maintain links when content changes
After renaming or retiring a page, update links that point to it. Test the destination on mobile and confirm it answers the promise in the link text. For a simple monthly workflow, review five articles, correct broken destinations and add only the links that help a reader continue their task.
